Secuencia Didáctica: Un día normal...

Para empezar: 

1) Miren las fotos y conversen entre todos:
    * ¿A qué momentos del día y actividades corresponden?
    * ¿Qué palabras en inglés podemos emplear para describirlas?

2) Ahora, hablen acerca de sus propias rutinas.
    * ¿Qué cosas hacen siempre antes de ir al colegio?
    * ¿Y después, al terminar el día escolar?
    * ¿A qué hora realizan esas actividades?
    * ¿Quién realiza la actividad más original o inusual de la clase?

Observar y Comprender:

Well, I wake up at around seven o'clock depending on the day. The first thing I do is eat. The most important thing to do is to eat breakfast. So, I make myself some coffee and some toast and I also feed my cats, which is also important for them. Usually, I start class around eight thirty in the morning. So I go to my first class, which is in Madrid. In the center of Madrid. And, I have about, maybe four or five classes, depending on the day. Basically, I hop on my motorcycle and go around Madrid teaching class after class.

If I have a break around one o'clock, I make lunch and, sometimes I make my own lunch. Sometimes I have to eat at a restaurant. My favorite place is the Chinese restaurant on Plaza de España, if you can get a table.

Sometimes I don't have time for lunch and I teach untill about 4 o'clock. And at 4 o'clock I'm starving and I have something to eat quickly at home or if I have to go again to a restaurant.

After that, I have my own classes. I study painting in the afternoons, so from 4:30 to 8:30, I'm in class. We do oil painting, figure painting, still life and all kinds of things you can imagine that you do in a painting class. And after the painting class, I go to the gym. I like to practice...  I like to play sports and right now I'm in boxing class. And that goes from 9 o'clock to 10 o'clock at night. And after boxing, I'm pretty exhausted, and once again it's time to eat, and I go home and make dinner.

After dinner and after I make sure my cats have eaten as well, I usually watch TV for a little while or get stuff prepared for the next day and go to bed.

6) La idea es contar un día típico de sus vidas a través de una historieta (comic) creada online.

El sitio Pixton permite hacer historietas online. Se pueden elegir formatos de tira cómica, personajes, globos de diálogo, etcétera. Hay una versión gratuita y otra paga, extendida.

a. Designen a un equipo para que investigue cómo trabajar en Pixton en inglés.

b. El equipo le va explicar al resto de la clase cómo trabajar en el sitio.

c. En pequeños grupos, diseñen una historieta.
